¢º IXI - Connect TM

IXI-Connect is the core software that runs on the PMG. It provides a seamless bridge between the PAN and the cellular network, extending SMS, voice, and the IP network to all devices in the PAN by establishing the PMG as a pocket-size micro-router/micro-server. IXI-Connect shares a single IP address among multiple PAN-enabled devices and supports thin as well as thick terminals by providing remote terminal drivers and GUI services. The software also facilitates over-the-air downloading of plug-ins and applications. Examples of plug-ins include firewall, tunneling, billing agents, and Man-Machine-Interface (MMI) applications.

¢º IXI - Manage TM

IXI-Manage is a server-based software solution that allows wireless operators or service providers to remotely access the PMG, manage the PAN, monitor device and application usage, and acquire corresponding statistics. IXI-Manage offers comprehensive device and application management capabilities such as downloading, upgrading or removing applications... all over-the-air. IXI-Manage is modular, scalable, and can sit on a wireless network back office in any IP-accessible remote location.

¢ºIXI - Sleek TM

IXI-Sleek is an efficient client software solution that runs on mobile devices, transforming them into Sleek devices. Sleek devices are thin terminals, clients of the PMG, and are part of the PAN that communicates with the PMG. These thin terminals are easy to design and manufacture, as they require only a low-cost, Bluetooth chipset for networking. The MMI runs on the PMG, saving memory cost and processing power on the Sleek devices. As the Bluetooth chipset average power consumption is very low, primary batteries can be used for months.
